They didn’t tempt me. Much to hard for a ‘soft-walker’ like me and too remote. I am, and was then, at the age when I feared having an accident in remote mountain areas and these were remote.

Great shots, Mari. The first on win particular makes me feel quite dizzy. I love walking for miles, but open views from a height are something of a challenge.

Although there are farm-houses dotted about (a keen eye will spot them) the remoteness of the place deterred me from walking. Looking and thinking how great it would be to trek there, had to sufficfe.
