To be honest I’m not quite sure. It’s in a sub-folder of my Angkor Wat photos entitle ‘Last few shots’ so it was towards the end of our 3rd day there and I was utterly exhausted with the heat, the mental stimulus, and just about everything. I think AW impressed me more than any other place i’d been to – apart from Pompeii – and if it hadn’t been for my husband insisting we pack up and go I think I’d still be there!
I can imagine! We only spent one day at the ruins and saw four sites. That was enough for my husband – we spent our second day in Siem Reap on a variety of other activities as he’s just not into ancient history (actually any history pre 20th century!) so I had to compromise 😆
Loved AW…. even loved Siem Reap…. That’s a beautiful shot from across the water…
Speaking of shots – hope you’ve recovered……
