I took this photograph last year and just saw it as I scrolled through some ‘countryside’ images. On this very dark, cold, day, it reminded me that tree surgeons are out there working, preparing for the coming of spring.

We’ll have our “tree guy” oever soon, to cut down the dead Chinese Tallow in front of our house, a lagre branch of which recently broke off, fell on our roog, and left a hole.

I do admire the work of these workers on trees, especially with the chainsaw. In the ground it is difficult for me to work it, can’t even imagine hanging on a tree branch. It looks like a maple tree although it has different colours than the ones we find here. All best!
