Sunrise in Thailand, as it came up over the Gulf. Taken from the balcony of my favourite hotel, the Dusit Thani Hua Hin.

This next one may not fit the bill exactlyl, but it’s one of my favourites, reminding me of a special trip. I can almost feel the heat of the day as I look at this.

Beautiful photos! I was just in Hua Hin and obviously stayed in the wrong hotel. Yours looks way better. haha!

No matter, as long as you enjoyed yourself that’s the main thing. I discvered Hua Hin in 1990 when it really was villagey, no chain hotels, no supermarkets, just the Chinese multi-purpose store (still there), and of course, no out of town shopping experience. The fishing port was where we all congregated at night to see the fleet set off, or return in some cases. Despite great changes, HH still holds its magic for me.

I do, all the time. It keeps me going all through the winter.

Thank you. Photos taken on the off-chance or just because one is enjoying the moment can sometimes work.

I could fall right into these, they’re so lovely! I especially like the soft sunrises, Mari. I hope you have a joyful Easter and some pleasant company to share it. 🙂 🙂
