  1. I’m sure there are lots of people like you who use Facebook for social means in the way it was first thought to be used (at least I hope the initial idea wasn’t just a massive money-making idea supporting fake news, foreign interference, government misdemeanors, etc). Somehow along the way it’s got hijacked. My dislike really is of the people who post every action of their day (like some young relatives of mine): ‘I;m just off to the shops’, ‘Just saw a cat up a tree’. These are the same people who bump into you on the street or cause cars to squeal to a halt, glued as they are to their screens. You keep on posting on FB, it needs some sensible people there.

    1. It’s such a pity too, because Facebook is genuinely useful if used properly and if controlled but as it is currently used and as it abuses its position, I just hate it.

    1. I feel I cope well with retirement (and I’m older than you) but I just hate the whole Facebook concept and how it has suckered people into its orbit. I feel that Zuckerberg and Trump have formed an dangerous alliance which shows their contempt for people, Trump says what he likes and Facebook won’t take it down, and don’t get me started on the anti-vaxxers! Will they be told to refuse a vaccine when one is found for the Corona Virus? If so, will Facebook be willing to take the message down? I doubt it.
