I was nominated by my namesake Marie, at Hops, Skips and Jumps for the 10 Travel Photos in Ten Days challenge, a Challenge that involves posting one favourite travel picture for each day and nominating ten bloggers – that’s 10 travel pictures and 10 nominations in ten days. Lucky there’s no text required so I may make it to Day 10 despite Covid and Christmas
It’s hard to decide whether I like a picture because I think it is good or because it reminds me of happy times – sometimes it’s both and that’s a plus.
So today I nominate T and Ku at journey-junkies and I hope they can find time to join in the challenge. If you do, please ping me back and let me know but there’s no pressure to join if you can’t manage it.

Well, I was ten minutes away from the hospital this morning where I had an appointment for an endoscopy and I had a phone call cancelling my appointment! I was in a taxi which I had to take and it was lashing down so all we could do is turn around and come back home. So, not a good start to the week! But on the plus side, I have been saved the discomfort of the procedure but it still awaits me! Meantime, a BIG pot of coffee is on and I’m going to start on the panetone today and to hell with the weight gain. Happy Christmas.

Yep, I’ve started on the Anton Berg marzipan chocolates which are my all time favourites and which my nephew sends me from Sweden, and the panettone has had a bit of a bashing, so you could say, I’ve started well. A good one to you and yours also.
