Me too. I never was good at handling the ultra dressing-up stuff. We visited one of the plantation houses when in Louisiana and the entrance included a Mint Julep on the veranda, which had me salivating. Finally, I’d get to be a Southern Belle. But it came in a plastic glass! No, not even plastic glass, a white plastic one. Dreams were shattered and the dress trailing in the dirt became a reality.

You could live next to some famous writers there. Although I love Nola for a holiday I don’t think I could live there. Too edgy for me!
