I enjoyed seeing your trios, Mari! In the heat, one never looks smart. Just sweaty and bedraggled – or is it just me?

I definitely do. Although I love the heat it plays havoc with my hair and I always seem to look sweaty and bedraggled!

High humidity certainly fluffs up my hair too!

It’s the Abbaye for me! I’m a sucker for cloisters and these look glorious, Mari.

It is a glorious Abbey just outside Beziers. If I can find my writing mojo again I will do a post about it as I think I have some half-decent photographs. The town too is worth a mention with lots of quirky elements. I also remember spending a long time in a vineyard there with an olive farm attached and buying an awful lot of their special olives to bring home.

Sounds good. Will look forward to it. I’m a bit low on the mojo too, at the moment 🙄💗

Every trio a beauty! I remember buying and loving tee’s like that on holiday in Spain as a child. Last Summer my girls had some very similar, which they wore slightly ironically for a cool, nod-to-the-80’s vibe. They are blessed with way more style than I’ve ever had haha.

I could go for the mega chandelier in that first shot though- what a statement piece!

It was a very ornate hotel as you can judge from the drapes alone and we’d been taken there by our Belgium friend for a coffee and to marvel at the interior! One of those place where you say “Lovely, can we go now and sit outside and people watch as we drink our coffee”!

Beautiful orchids! I’ll pass on the t-shirts and the curtains though.

Where’s your sense of adventure? The curtains you could always wrap around yourself as a sarong, the tee shirts ?? No, I don’t know!

I don’t think the t-shirts are quite my style. Tasselley bits round my middle? And the curtains are way too fussy. Hmm – still no!

Beautiful selections, Mari. I love the orchids. I’d enjoy wearing these t-shirts. 🙂

I visited an orchid farm in Thailand and I’ve got dozens of photographs which I daily compare to my effort at keeping alive my own white orchid which refuses to do what it says on the label!

Those orchids are glorious! Not sure I’d wear a t-shirt like that however 😆

Ah, you’re not like me then. I start of saying I’ll never wear anything like that, the heat gets to me and I end up looking like a tramp some days (does one still use the word ‘tramp’ I wonder)?

Oh I do wear things on trips that I would never be seen dead in at home, but I think I draw the line at exposing my midriff! However, never say never …
